Doormila joined Southbridge Investments in October 2023. In her role as General Counsel, she is responsible for managing the legal affairs of SBI and its related companies and investment vehicles. This includes providing strategic legal advice on corporate governance to the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and other senior officers.
Experience
In addition to offering legal guidance on complex transactions and compliance, she plays a key role as a strategic business partner. This involves advising on a wide range of matters, including ethics, privacy, data protection, and adapting to regulatory and governmental changes.
Doormila holds a Master’s degree in Law as well as an EMBA.
Before joining the Southbridge team, Doormila worked as in house counsel in various international companies gaining a solid expertise in M&A and contract negotiation.
Doormila is fluent in English and French.
