Andile joined SouthBridge Investments as a Sports & Wellness Fund Partner in May 2024. Leveraging his extensive background in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and asset management, he is helping establish the SouthBridge Investments Pan-African Sports & Wellness Fund. Andile is pivotal in setting up the fund, managing its operations, and ensuring efficient processes. He plays a crucial role in raising capital, identifying and sourcing investment opportunities, overseeing transaction execution, and monitoring investment performance. His efforts aim to drive the fund’s success and promote sports and wellness across Africa.
Experience
Andile is a Chartered Accountant and investment manager with extensive experience in M&A, capital raising, debt structuring, and deal management. He has overseen assets worth over R50 billion ($2.7 billion) and completed transactions exceeding R75 billion ($4.1 billion) at Nedbank Limited, Kleoss Capital Private Equity Fund I and Investec Limited. He also co-founded and co-managed a R845 million ($46 million) Kleoss Capital Private Equity Fund I.
Andile is fluent in English, IsiXhosa and IsiZulu.
